The Bunka Knife

The Bunka Knife is the heavy set dimpled blade made to dissect starchy vegetables, poultry or meats.

The thick spine makes it easy to push down on potato or pumpkin and the think belly and heavier weight lead to improved downward chops on poultry or meat. 

A similar shape to a Santoku yet slightly heavier with a "K-tip" the Bunka has become popular due to it's diverse use and superior strength when compared to almost all knives in the east or west.

When compared to Western knives there is no comparative.
