The prefix of "Ko" when talking about Japanese Knives denotes that the knife is a smaller version than the original. We made our Ko-Bunka Bocho as a smaller version of our larger Bunka, mainly as a petty knife of sorts. By taking the profile of the larger Bunka and superimposing it on a smaller knife, you get a lot of power in a compact design. With thicker spine, 'revers tanto' tip and wedge shaped heel, it gives you the benefits of a petty knife, with the robust construction of a larger knife.
