We procure a lot of the burl wood (roots) from the Pinot and Chardonnay crops in the McLaren Vale region in SA. In honour of the region and the wine we decided to make a few handles which were tainted with Chardonnay yellow (a richer aged chardonnay for example).

We appreciate the reminder of where it comes from when slicing a platter to accompany our wine.
