Gyuto Knife - Beijing, China

Gyuto Knife - Beijing, China

Posted by Ramon Elzinga on

Last night we received our first order to the capital city of China, Beijing.

The knife ordered was our most popular Japanese knife - the gyuto knife.

The handle of the gyuto knife they chose was made using the burl of a shiraz plant in Mclaren Vale South Australia which was stabilised and strengthen using epoxy resin.

The handle of the Gyuto knife was made with a Japanese steel (AUS10) which formed the hardness in the core of the blade and stainless steel allowing for Damascus wrapping with ultra low corrosion.

As the largest country in the world has begun purchasing our knives we look forward to working with them and most of all - we look forward to eating more Chinese cuisine crafted with the Gyuto knife we make :)
