Singapore Kiritsuke Knife

Singapore Kiritsuke Knife

Posted by Ramon Elzinga on

I was lucky enough to spend around 1 year in Singapore (around 6 years ago) and was able to see the wonderful things the country has to offer. When we received our first Knife order from Singapore this was a blast from the past.

Interestingly, our first customer purchased a bread knife or serrated knife which is commonly used in slicing baked goods such as bread or croissants. I had expected our first knife would be a Gyuto or Bunka for vegetable chopping but it was not.

The handle chosen for the Japanese Serrated Knife was the red which matches well with the colours and flag of Singapore.
