I like fiddling with my racks but it took me longer to learn something mine numbingly simple. Racks hand better when the knives are upside down.

For years I had blades upward in the air like flags on the wall however I couldn't keep them vertically perpendicular. For someone who has mild OCD this has been very annoying.

However my business partner gave me a tip - how about you turn them upside down. It worked. It's not perfect (it never will be) but it many times better and much more perpendicular on most days. Give it a try if your knives at home are flapping like flags in the Melbourne weather.
