Kiritsuke Knife Bangkok

Kiritsuke Knife Bangkok

Posted by Ramon Elzinga on

We just received our first order from Bangkok, Thailand.

Thailand is a diverse cuisine with a variety of ingredients to be prepared so it was no surprise that their knife of choice was an all purpose blade - the K-tip Kiritsuke knife.

The K-Tip Kiritsuke has a length roughly equal to the length of the Gyuto knife however it has a thicker blade and a "K-Tip" which mean it is more suited chopping and slicing with heft using the tip of the blade.

Thai ingredients commonly used like lemongrass, chilli, lime leaves and chicken are all well suited to the Kiritsuke knife due to its downward heft.

We hope our new customer loves their new kiritsuke knife as much as we love their cuisine :)
